Sabre fencing on Long Island/NYC

Hi,

I'll be in NY this summer, staying in Huntington. I'm bringing my sabre kit with me and am hoping to find somewhere to fence. Any ideas?

Sheridan Fencing Academy is located in NYC and has an excellent sabre program. You're welcome to come try it out. Send me an email at info@sheridanfencing.com

If you can get into Manhattan, Manhattan Fencing Center is a great Sabre club, Fencer's Club is a good alternative. Though, in the summer the activity at the clubs slows down quite a bit.

There are several options in the huntington area. There is H3 in Dix Hills but as they run out of a HS gym i doubt they will be open during the summer. There is Island Fencing Academy in Plainview about 10 minutes on the Nothern State Parkway or LIE. Then there is Mission Fencing in Rocky Point. Mission will also be hosting numerous camps and tournaments throughout the summer and will be open majority of the season with the exception being summer nationals. I am also from Huntington, let me know if you need more info.
