You talking about the Indiana incedent? The daughter should be with neither of the parents. The father has warrants out for his arrest and we can see what type of parent the mother is. I say put the kid in foster home. Yes it sucks but better than suffer abuse at the hands of her mother.
'Tis a sad world that poor child must live in to have such scum for a mother and father.

keep hitting d'art, as you can see, i saw red. i also saw new orleans, your neighbors, they got drenched. but as a former new orleanian, what i remember is that everyone just tears up the rugs and dumps it all away, and replaced it about every 5 years.
Everytime I see the clip of the woman beating her I literaly feel sick, and want to throw up.
I agree with Voldune. From what I've heard, and read between the lines I don't think the girl should go to any family member. If I were the child I would prefer a foster home to living with someone who beats me or has the potential to do so, and I know that they do.
'It is a cruel world that we here live in.'
I can see why you would want to get sick, it is pretty sick. The level of violence that that woman felt she needed to use in order to discipline a small child was way, way out of proportion. I have developed a theory, that doesn't always apply, but in this case it does, and here's the deal: mom goes to store with tot, and other family members. mom sees several items and either 1. resents spending money on the items or 2. doesn't make several purchases due to financial restrictions 3. or other closely related reason. She gets to the car and takes her frustrations out on her daughter, because she wants to hit something and her daughter is smaller, et la, so there she goes. In reality, however overconsumption is the reason why people do this.
