    "Caraminari" (??) uniform

Last weekend I saw a FIE uniform that looked very nice. The brand was "Caraminari" or something similar. Is there someone who can help me find the manufacturer on the net, where to buy (preferably in Europe), opionions/reviews, etc.

    Thanks in advance!

Clothing items are very nice...especially the gloves...I have one. I think the FIE uniforms are actually made by a French manufacturer and the Carminari label is put on them. Hardware items...like parts for foils....are not so good IMO.

It's a good thing you're in Europe. Ordering from the USA was problematic...my credit card didn't work on their website. I had to send a check by mail..it helps if you speak Italian....if you are going the call or FAX....they were very slow in answering my email a year ago.

Beg to differ, but the screwless points are very nice. They are probably the best screwless points available. The contact length adjustment is not easy, but once set, roughly never needs to be changed. They are very pricey though.

    Screwless points suck for foil.

    Have you tried the Carmimari?

I think it's probably the most reliable point there is. It's problem is cost. On a value basis, it doesn't work.

Does it exist any images and/or schematic descriptions on the net of these points? The company website is a joke.

Also, does anyone know if the 800N uniforms offered are the same thick very soft "silky feeling" as the ones that are worn by the Canadian national team?

(My god, it's 2009 and some companies still don't understand that a good multi-lingual website is the key to getting business....)

maybe there are enough fencers in Italy to make a multi-lingual website not their first priority.
I caught this morning morning’s minion, king-
dom of daylight’s dauphin, dapple-dawn-drawn Falcon, in his riding
Of the rolling level underneath him steady air, and striding
High there, how he rung upon the rein of a wimpling wing
In his ecstasy! then off, off forth on swing,
As a skate’s heel sweeps smooth on a bow-bend: the hurl and gliding
Rebuffed the big wind. My heart in hiding
Stirred for a bird,—the achieve of; the mastery of the thing!
