So recently a few thousand Americans decided to renact the battle of the bulge at Fort Indiantown Gap military base in Annville, Pa.

Does this glorify war, honour a noble sacrifice or is it simply an excuse for geeks to argue about who is wearing the appropriate cap insignia worn by the Gebirgsjäger in December 1944?

Would this appeal to you and, more importantly, who would you play- A GI, a German soldier, or even the gestapo!

I thing this is the line of the article:

“There I was, helpless, with no gun and this German platoon walking towards us,” said Mr. Kisse, a 91-year-old former infantryman from Pittsburgh, recalling his encounter in 1999. “I was shaking, getting flashbacks! Then my son told me, ‘It’s O.K., they’re Americans.’ ”
