The mesh portions conform to the rules regarding the design and construction of the mesh portions. The other bits conform to the requirements for their respective type of other bits.

Actually, BG comes to mind...several masks between 700 and 1000N on the bib. They started it when the rule came out, and kept it even after it was acknowledged (by Bill Oliver, IIRC) that it was, in fact, a typo. That's been discussed before. -

A typo is "the bib msut be 700 N." What did they mean to write before their finger slipped? I think it is a poorly considered rule that no one wants, but not a typo.
It's been discussed before, but it's somehow still in there. -

It's been discussed before, but it's somehow still in there. Someone entered 700 incorrectly when the rules were translated...I don't know why it has not been corrected...I don't write the rules...Brad?? That's closer to your area than mine. -

Array breach of safety at Atlanta NAC I saw a vet epee fencer last weekend in Atlanta being permitted to wear a knee brace on the outside of his knickers and socks. It wasn't my pool, so I wasn't going to grandstand, but later I went over to the bout committee and told them about it and that in some debriefing of refs (if they have one) that it should not have been allowed. Good thing no one's point got caught on it.
My own knee brace was packed in tightly under sock, which was pretty difficult. -

After the BC made me Ace Bandage-wrap my unrepaired torn ACL over-knicker & sock DonJoe brace, I switched to McDavid's 422R Dual Disk Hinged brace that fits under both. No problems so far. YMMV. -

Array Has anyone checked-out a quick-and-dirty solution of putting a self-adhering wrap over the brace?
Something like this: http://www.drugstore.com/qxp38543_33...wrap_3_in_.htm
Technically it should cover the parts that are likely to trap a blade and break it. Of course, it also extends target area. I know my share of history
How hard it is to be free
