    LOL... Thanks, rgd.
After showing my husband these pics he asked me to send the link to his work address. He wants his friends there to see what a sexy sport I'm involved in.

You two have a pretty open-minded relationship, don't you? If I were to show this to my husband, he'd probably ask my why *I* don't look like that. (Not that he ever knew me at that age, but still...) At which point, he might meet an untimely end.

I'm more likely to send him the link to the youtube sabre with explosive sound effects and visual enhancement, if only to remind him what a bad idea it is to piss me off. Ever.

He's well aware of my own explosive side effects when I'm mad and errr.... pleased with him.

Hubby met me when I was a firm bodied gym bunny and knows I'm just a little effort away from restoring that.

It's a pity that more female sabreurs don't look like this. WS would really be a mass entertainment sport...

In this era of ubiquitous Photoshopping, I'm not sure THEY look like this. Having been around Ms Kharlan for a number of years while she and the kid unit battled up and down the strip, going at it hammer and tongs, I have several observations:

    1. As Olga and my daughter are the same age, I'm a little weirded out by seeing this perky teeny-bopper from Ukraine in such a manner.

    2. Sitting in the stands as Ukrainian chest protectors were donned and doffed over the past few years, I think some...umm...enhancement may have been introduced into this photoshoot...even to the level of swapping heads onto new torsos.

    3. I hope they got a lot of money for this project, because:

    4. I suspect they are suddenly going to be quite intensely popular at international events this year.

What was that old thread about the Swedish epeeists?
    Anyone remember it?

Those pictures were hotter than these.

I share your concerns, we're going to need a lot more photographs for further evaluation.

Roch mandated visor masks so we could see their faces. Audience appeal was the reason.

Russian magazine XXL show how new FIE president Usmanov proposes to take audience appeal to an entirely new level.

One US fencing vendor is already onboard:

They're doing some incredible(y dishonest) things with push-up bras these days.

I also want to say that in a "normal" picture context, only the one second from the right is actually attractive. However, the magazine cover works for them all because to a certain point the attractiveness of a girl is directly correlated with how slutty they are dressing or acting or posing or whatever. Push up bras + implied oral sex = much more attractive seeming girls.

    Shrug.

    Fatfencer weighs in

I dont remember seeing any of these gals in my mail order bride catalog.

Feel a little gypped at this point.

I will say that these girls would look MUCH better on my bed covered in various sauces.....

I wonder if I could get those bodacious tatas cold enough to use Magic Shell on them?

    Sigh....

    Fatfencer

PS: Those broads definitely dont look like your usual sabreuse... far more shapely than our gals... or any sabreuse I've seen regardless of country.

Epee girls BY FAR are the hottest. I dunno why.

If you go to the "more pictures" link, look at the saber guard in the last photo. She is holding the photoshopped saber in the wrong hand. Damn those computer guys...

Only a Playboy Playmate could make a chest protector sexy!!

I think there was one shot (the shoot was done at Westside, I believe) that had Mike D'Asaro Sr's hand just in shot, holding a sabre...so he could legitimately say he was in Playboy!
