I pay for the sizing. S/M/L just doesn't seem to cut it for me since I always seem to be right between a S and M. I don't think that numerically sized gloves are very common under $20.

The Absolute advanced glove is numerically sized and is only $18. I've been using them since I found out they fit and were cheap. However you have to be careful, the sizing sometimes varies for different batches, if you get the chance try them on first. I tend to wear through them very fast 6 months to a year, but I also fence 4 times a week or more.

I'm planning on my next glove being a little more protective, either the 350 Newton LP glove or another high protection one.
