Array Referee's Clothing I am wondering if there is still an "official" type/color of clothing for directors. I assume this is somewherein the USFA handbook (which I will check in the morning on the computer where it's already downloaded), but if someone else knows, couldja tell me?

Array From the Hanbook for Referees on the FOC website:
The uniform for men is a navy blue blazer, gray trousers, shirt and tie. The uniform for women is a navy blue blazer, gray skirt or slacks, and a blouse. This uniform is to be clean and pressed as a sign of respect to the fencers and to the referee who is wearing it. A blazer issued to referees at the Olympics, World University Games, et cetera is also acceptable. It is requested that all referees wear appropriate shoes and leave athletic shoes to the athletes.

Yes there is still a specified uniform. Originally Posted by Handbook for Referees REFEREES' ATTIRE

Array It's in the Coaching Corner because this is the kind of thing I would expect coaches to know, moreso than the average-Joe fencer in Fencing Discussion.
Thanks everyone! That's the passage I was looking for!
