Not likely - events are listed as "womens" or "mixed" (i.e. no "mens" events).

As of right now, no. That answer is extremely unlikely to change. It was felt that the title of NOC was not sufficient reason to up the price of the event by 5 dollars a fencer.

Well, I'd pay $5 more, even if I'm already planning on attending...

Still leaves me wondering what the 4th NOC is...

    Opportunity NOCs but once.

Actually, Opportunity never NOCs twice. Which means it might NOC once or three or more times.

The real question is whether putting the fourth NOC in the Metro NYC area would reduce complaints about a lack of an SYC closer than 3 hours drive...

Ya know, the Mr. Ma cup might make a good NOC...

    Just saying...
    "Sir, didn't I parry"
"You didn't take advantage of his blade enough, so no."

(I guess i should have romanced it a bit more..."

    Too late in the season.

Same problem (only moreso) with the PdT.

Ahh, thats true. I wasn't thinking about the fact that its a qualifier for an event a month later... too bad though, both are great events.

"Reduce complaints"? In FENCING? What a concept...

More specifically, several weeks beyond the deadline to have submitted qualifier lists and a couple of weeks after the entry deadline.

Why not simply make it the first event of the next season?

Just a reminder Cherry Blossom is now only a couple weeks away. All of the events are looking pretty strong again (especially the epee). Hope to see you all there!

And if you signed up but didn't pay, now would be the time to complete your registration.

Just an update, both the mixed foil and mixed epee are potential A4's, the mixed saber and the women's epee are also potential A events, and the women's foil and saber are both potential B events.

Hope to see many of you there

Just to let people know, equipment check will be open on Friday night ~7pm (during set-up).

    Also pre-registration closes tonight.

It used to be that. It was created as the Boston version of Terre des Hommes (hence the name), which was (is?) a big season opener in Montreal that a lot of Boston fencers fenced (fence?) in. Once Summer Nationals became all the rage, someone proposed moving it to the end of season as a warm-up for that, and so it was moved.
