    Duellist equipment.

I am interested in hearing peoples opinions of Duellist equipment. In particular their "Elite" rollbag. I have heard very little about the company or its products and the search function did not help much.

Any reports about their gear would be greatly appreciated

They are a vendor from the UK who buy in and resell rather than manufacture. Their clothing isn't bad but the rest is all available elswhere at lower prices.

They were making god inroads into the USA a couple of years ago when Rick Shellhouse was their distributor but I believe he fell out with them and they have since dropped off the US radar.

I haven't seen it but I doubt that the rollbag is any different to a generic chinese made one.

I have a Duellist rollbag I picked up on eBay. Let's say I'm happy enough with it but certainly not worth it's retail price.

I found out yesterday that their shop in London is now closed down. I am not sure if they are still selling via their website.

So what rollbag would you guys recomend? I am looking for one with two compartments and a removable top bag. Thinking of Allstar or Uhlmann "Jumbo". Maybe PBT or Leon Paul?

I just got the BG "Jumbo" Bad. It has 2 compartmets, plus the detachable one on the top. I love it so far. I can't speak to its durability, but its nice so far...

And WAYYYY cheaper than some of the other ones mentioned...
    "Sir, didn't I parry"
"You didn't take advantage of his blade enough, so no."

(I guess i should have romanced it a bit more..."

One of my daughter's has had the BG Jumbo for well over a year. It's pretty good, not great, and a very good value. We have had to repair some zippers, and the wheels have needed some maintenance. The wheel axles stick out pretty far, and are easy to catch on things.

It is, however, jumbo. It does have the removable bag on top, which is nice I think for carrying to the strip. Lots of compartments is good.

It's a good choice if you need a big bag and cannot afford the Uhlmann.
