Extra points for answers in both Fahrenheit and Celsius.

Quadruple points if you can explain colder than 0 in Kelvin.

Portage and Main Street, Winnipeg Manitoba in the winter (trust me Winnipeggers will laugh).

    From the Globe & Mail:
WINNIPEG -- Everybody on the Prairies has a different measure of how frigid it has been this week, but Winnipeg zoo curator Bob Wrigley can trump them all: "It was too cold for the polar bear,"

The opening riff for "Law and Order" was stolen from Randy Bachman, who stole it from Stephen Stills.

Alka-Seltzer doubled their sales with one successful ad campaign. The instructions were to take one Alka-Seltzer, but when the memorable jiggle came out "Plop, plop, fizz, fizz..." people started doubling the recommended dose, thus there was a HUGE increase in sales suddenly.

While on the subject of the Bayer Corporation. They invented aspirin in 1853, as many of you may know they became famous for it. What you may not know is they also trademarked Heroin (diacetylmorphine). This addictive drug was originally sold as a cough treatment. Heroin was a Bayer trademark, until World War I... they also invented methadone.

According to Isaac Asimov's Book of Facts (1979), an Assyrian clay tablet dating to approximately 2800 BC was unearthed bearing the words "Our earth is degenerate in these latter days. There are signs that the world is speedily coming to an end. Bribery and corruption are common."

The first goalie mask to be worn in a game was worn by Elizabeth Graham, from Queen's University in 1927. Her father spent a small fortune on dental work on her and got her a fencing mask. to wear.

Frank Zappa's album Jazz From Hell" carried an explicit lyrics warning sticker.

I have been wondering where my presents are, then Wikipedia tells me this:

Father's Day is a day honoring fathers, celebrated on the third Sunday of June in 52 of the world's countries and on other days elsewhere
