Clemson University Fencing. Just curious, does anyone here know of someone, or go themselves, to Clemson University, and have any opinions of their fencing team? -

I am close friends with one of the (epee) fencers there, and they have a great club. they have very good fencers in all three weapons. -

Roster and news pages slightly dated, but the site in general gives a feel for what the depth of fencers is like, and where they're going. Like any other club team, Clemson has better years in some weapons than others. Our foil program is particularly strong, while our current sabre is particularly weak.
Clemson has no direct staff supervision, no coach of their own, so to speak. They do put on clinics with guest coaches that come in from the surrounding areas or who are sometimes flown in for the weekend. The program grows from the fencers really going out into the fencing community to bring back to the club what they've learned. Some people love that about the club, and others not so much...
Can try to answer any specific questions you have here, or you can contact the current president of the club (always) at clemfen@clemson.edu. Thru the darkness of Future Past

not much that can be said beyond what was already said, unless you want to provide specific questions or information about what you wish to know.
