GFOK-Where do you get your parts? Where does the average Joe Armorer get his wires, screws, etc? I work out of a school with it's own full store, and when I'm working there, I use the owners' parts. But when I'm out on my own, I use mine. I can (and have) bought from the owner, but she's not the best about timely restocking.
Any pointers?

Array Mostly I've picked up parts at NACs, or order from one of the other suppliers on-line. Either way, I generally keep a supply on hand for myself. -
Oh, I have my own supply of parts, etc. I guess what I'm looking for is who's the best to deal with, either in person or online?
I dont order a large amounts of stuff, so volume discounts generally dont apply.
Who are the best to deal with as far as inventory and price and selection, etc?
But you have a point- I'll be working a NAC this year, and am hoping for the Summer Nationals. I'll be checking around.

Array Both this site (shop.fencing.net) and Absolute cover just about everything I ever need parts wise and both have excellent service. -

Array AF is pretty much my source for everything, with some side trips to LP. The only way to atone for being occasionally a little over-dressed is by being always absolutely over-educated. -Oscar Wilde -

Array Fencing Post is my source for many of my parts...Sport 7 for French parts, FWF for German epee parts.
F.net for German foil parts (the Xtra point) and LP screws.
German foil wires I get from Rocky Sorenson....the ones Gary Spruill was making and selling. -

Array Wires?
Screws?
What are those? Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! -
Dear Inq, these are things that foil and epee fencers use to try to make their chosen weapons seem more mysterious and desirable. They only serve to complicate the issues, raise the cost of purchase and repair, and torment the armorers.
They just don't seem to be able to embrace the savage simplicity of the saber. We must remember to be kind to them. No fair picking on them.
See you in Colorado-I'm working in the armory.
