    New Ride

    Check it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AIT&viewitem=

I know it's a scooter in the middle of winter, but I'm putting in a larger engine and that should take a while.

    I'm psyched.

This ride seems love or hate.

I had one like that in the very early 70's (like 60 something). They get great gas mileage, they are easy to maintain, and they are now very cool. Not having a reserve sucks!

Have fun. Expect everybody to hit you and act accordingly. And my dearest friend says when you corner keep your wieght on the outside peg; although I am not sure if that applies to scooters.

BTW, when I had mine $700 would probably have bought you a Cadillac.

I would add having an Italian model (or a really good looking gril that adores you from your hometown) draped acrost the back sitting side saddle is my ideal of high romance.

I already have 2 cars and a van.
    Wanna buy my '68 Continental?
I actually sold my motorbike to my mechanic. I'll buy a new one next year.

    Lies. Lies, I say!
Motorcycles are far cooler than scooters.

(Being able to shift on your own and control the brakes independently is great, and in my city, you can buy a scooter with a class 5 (regular car) license. You don't need the motorbike license (class 6). Which is unfortunate, as there is a world of difference between two wheels and four, which all too many people don't figure out until it's too late.)
