    Cadet WE Heidenheim 11/22/08

If I have missed anyone, my apologies for the oversight. The 10 girls who made it to the round of 64 had to go through FOUR rounds of pools.

Four rounds of pools? In a cadet womens epee tournament? With over 200 participants?
Did this tournament take a week to complete?

I was there refereeing for the USA.

four rounds of poules, of which the first round took 2 waves on the first day. Each poule cut 20-30% ish. I was back in the hotel by 8pm.

Second day (for those who qualified) had a repecharge of 64 then another repecharge of 32. The finals started at 2pm.

    Something about german efficiency...

Thanks for exercising your mercenary skills.

Do the Swiss have tournaments? Do they schedule the "on guard" commands?
