    Who runs their own club?

I'm the president of our fencing club and would like to talk over some issues with others that are in charge of their own clubs.
Issues like Money, travel, training, discipline etc.

If you have experience in this field, I would like to discuss these and other matters. We can do it here or via e-mail as you prefer.

    Thanks!

We have one club near where I live. The others are an hour to two hours away. Our school doesn't even have the slightest option for a fencing club. So unfortunatly I can't help ya.

I teach university classes and I'm coach for the student club; I don't know if I can help, but I'm willing to offer advice based on my experience. PM me if you like and I'll see what I can do...

Well I run a secondary school club in Singapore together with a couple of my fellow fencers and our coach. I generally take care of fencing theory instruction, discipline and epee instruction, while my friends deal with the foil and sabre sections as well as club adminstration while our coach sets the overall direction of the club. We have a teacher-in-charge of the club as well, he is our liason with the school as none of us are teachers in the school.

Thanks for the replies and PM's. Some great success stories out there! I'll use what I can to improve our club.

-135711 I wish you could too. But thanks for trying.
