Finnish fencer skiing to South Pole HI!
If any of you is interested about these kind of things.
One member of our fencing club, Teemu Lakkasuo, is skiing to South Pole right now. See the website (Teemu updates it almost daily):

Wow...now we know how hard it is to find someone to fence with in Finland. The most I ever do is drive an hour and a half!
