Moving to Finland : Do I need FIE Range equipment to join club/local tournament ?

I'm going to move to Jyvaskyla, Finland for 5 month as an exchange student starting from January. I wondered do I need to buy FIE range equipment to enter the club and enter some local tournament in Finland?

I can not read Finnish so I can not read the equipment guideline from www.fencing.fi. All equipment I use right now is made in China which is very cheap ( $38 for complete electric epee+body chord, $48 for mask , $51 for fencing cloth (Jacket+underplaston+pants), $16 for glove).

Since I'm Thai, I can barely afford to buy some major brand especially FIE range equipment due to the exchange rate issue make it seems very expensive to me to buy new in Finland. I wondered if it possible to use my existing equipment which has no brand at all when I'm in Finland. Any who know, could you please give me some advice ? Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

I recommend emailing the club you intend to fence at, and talk to them, as they would know best what they require.
    "Sir, didn't I parry"
"You didn't take advantage of his blade enough, so no."

(I guess i should have romanced it a bit more..."
