Hold off on new mask? Since I started fencing for my college team I decided I would replace the crap I used all through high school. My only concern is the new rule for foil about bibs being legal target area means I'd have to get a new mask with a conductive bib. When is this rule going to be implemented for nationals and USFA tourny's? Or should I not worry about it and go ahead and buy a new mask anyway, not gonna lie, the one I have now smells like a fat clown's asshole. -

Array Either buy a Leon Paul X-Change or wait. Obey. -
X-Change rules Do not wait - buy a Leon Paul X-Change for foil (+ice padding)
BTW, it will never smell bad, because the padding/bib is reduced, washable and replaceable. -

USFA is not yet adoptiong the rule...they are taking a wait and see stance on it....and remember, safety does not wait....if you can get a new mask now...do it. Similar Threads -
