    Mergs Opus Magnum, Second Edition

The Second Edition of "The Care and Feeding of All Things Fencing" is now available!!

This edition is reorganized to better look for information, has a table of figures, more pictures and illustrations, and an expanded section on troubleshooting with flowcharts!

Because of the expanded information, the price is now $17.50 USD per .pdf copy. And because of the response from the fencing community, I am going to be publishing it in hard copy (still need cover artwork, for those that may be interested in contributing!), price TBD.

Please see my sig line or PM me to order your copy.

    I just got my copy.

It is, without doubt, the best thing I have ever seen on armoring.
Clear, well written, and well illustrated.

The best part is that it has answers to questions I didn't even know I had!

Everyone needs a copy of this.

    I agree!

I was one of the lucky few who got a copy of one of his drafts. I really, really liked it. I plan to buy the printed version when it becomes available. (Mergs feel free to put me on the list of people wanting the printed version).

Thanks, all. I appreciate the interest in the hardcopy. Magic Moose has seen the prototype, so once I get a bit more feedback on style, etc. I'll tweek it some more. I'm planning on being able to have it available in the spring.

I am working with one now. I delayed it because of the work I was doing on the new release.

Lulu was the best, but they may be only sci fi/game specific publishing, I'll check, we went through a reseller of sorts to use them, it may have been the reseller who was specific.

Cafe Press was decent for short works, actually, never tried longer works (<75 pages).

    -edit-
Just checked Lulu (lulu.com), they do all sorts of things. We were quite happy with the books they did for us, very high quality, trade paperback 2-300 pages.
