    Ignoring the bad pun...

I was really interested in getting a cetrulo grip for my foil. I was able to try one out once and absolutely loved it. The only problem is that the place that the guy got it from no longer sells it and I can't find anywhere else that does. If anyone has any suggestions or links to places that have it, it'd be much appreciated.

*Edit* I just found the TCA "Spanish Offset" which is striking in resemblance to a Cetrulo. So the question now is...is it a cetrulo or a spanish offset?

    To answer the question:

Have you tried contacting American Fencers Supply Co.?
    http://www.amfence.com/index.html

They have the Centrulo listed on page 4 of their catalog (the 6th page of the PDF document):
    http://www.amfence.com/afscat.pdf

(It also provides a good visual reference for what's what, as far as the more common grip shape/name couplings you'll encounter go.)

Be warned, however, that many will give you grief if you use anything other than a Visconti...

Good advice. The legality of the grip is questionable. Some respected experts say that it is legal. Some respected experts say that it is not legal. A search will reveal the details.

I tried the Spanish offset and liked it for a while. I did find, however, that it locked my hand into position on the grip so well that certain blade engagements twisted my hand in a way that severely hurt the first knuckle on my index finger.

    I would avoid this grip.

BTW, I finally settled on the French grip for epee.

The problem I have with them is that the rear prong is just so long; it makes angulation difficult / painful.
