Array Dude. You got nothin'. :-p I go to Columbia. A few blocks right next to campus were filled to the brim with cheering, hugging, dancing students. I've never seen anything like it. W00T! "Preparation is the soul of tactics. And tactics are the soul of fencing."-Aladar Kogler -

Array I've just been getting a gratuitous amount of texts and emails. From people who never react that strongly. It is rather interesting. The Angel of Death Strikes!

Array They should call NC and IN already, with 98-99% reporting, there is no way McCain can win them.
I'm going to be pleasantly shocked if MT goes Obama though. It might...my county hasn't reported yet, and it's gonna be 60-40 at least here with a nice chunk of population. The Angel of Death Strikes!

Array I'm a fairly avid conservative, and McCain supporter (and voter). In the best interests of all I hope he is a good president, but I feel like we just went all in before we even saw the flop.
Good luck Obama and God help us all. -

The entire county of Wayne has not yet reported any polling results and that's a solid red county. The population is sufficiently large to tip it to McCain.
I was a poll judge in Indiana today. It was an interesting experience. -

Array No, Obama help us all.
I am quite confident he WILL do a good job.

Good luck Obama and God help us all. So... Do you mean they called the victory too early?
And I think we've already had quite enough help from the man who "God wanted to be president". "When Fascism comes to America, it will come wrapped in the flag and bearing a cross." -

I think he meant everyone just went in and voted for Obama without thinking too much about the consequences. I disagree. "Preparation is the soul of tactics. And tactics are the soul of fencing."-Aladar Kogler -

I was a poll judge in Indiana today. It was an interesting experience. Wayne popped up 100% reported on my end, and Obama is still up...it's the far Northwest that is still showing....and Obama is up enough to negate pretty much any gain McCain would make there seemingly. Actually I was referring to his lack of experience, and while I am in no way meaning to imply that Obama is immoral, he seems untested to me. And the feeling that I get when I go all-in before the flop is similar to what I felt when I saw the election results... so it's just my opinion. No one is ever above needing help from God, there is always room for improvement, unless of course you consider yourself perfect (oh wait...hypocritical much?). Obama, in his acceptance speech, said "God Bless the United States of America", we are definitely in need of help what with the economy, Iraq, Health care, Energy, Education, etc, etc. and I will take whatever help I can get. But this is a topic for another thread...
You guys seem to want to pick me apart, all i wanted to do was wish Obama luck and I will pray for him, along with all the leaders of my nation. Obama will be my President in the next four years and I will support him as such. That doesn't mean I will agree with every action he takes, in fact I will probably agree with very little he does. But I hope, at least, that he will make wise decisions in his leadership of this country and it is my belief that God helps out those in need, so naturally, I would wish for God to help us, and Obama is included in "us".
I am offended that I even have to offer this disclaimer, with me, as a conservative, even taking the time to post in this obviously democratic/liberal thread wishing the president-elect good luck. Similar Threads -
