Fencing Slogan Contest: Take Two- Two Ways to Win! CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED, THANKS FOR PLAYING
A couple years ago, I ran a Fencing Slogan Contest to get ideas for my Fencing CafePress store.
Well, it was so successful that, in preparation for the upcoming holiday season, I'm doing it again! This contest has a twist: there are two ways to win.
One: Propose a slogan or saying relating to any aspect of fencing, and if I choose to make a design using that slogan, you win one product (your choice of any one product in my CafePress store under $11) with that design on it!
Two: Submit a fencing photo (you must own the rights to this photo) for me to use as raw material for a design. You can have a slogan to go with it, or you can just submit the photo. If I choose to use this photo to make a design, you win one product (your choice of any one product in my CafePress store under $6) with that design on it! If you submit a photo and a slogan, and I choose to use both, you will receive both prizes!
Ending date of contest: January 25, 2009
CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED.
Number of winners is potentially unlimited.
Winners will be notified by post on this thread and by PM (to get shipping information. This contest is not limited to the USA; I can ship the prize worldwide).

I got one! Imagine an image of a foil, or any other weapon, with the tip highlighted, or circled and a caption that reads "This end up". Would go great on boxers, I think.
Hm... New idea! Instead of the tip, a silhouette of a grip and guard with the caption "Handle with care". Again, would go great on underwear.

99% of the items are over $11, and like 99.9% are over $6.

$11 is enough to get a t-shirt, which is why I put that cap there. The prize for the photos is lower because it's easier for me to get photos to work with.
Part of the reason the prizes aren't higher is because I don't choose just one "grand prize" winner- I choose many winners, who all get the $11 prize.

I'm combining these two ideas, as I think they'll work quite well together.

Stay tuned for the revealing of these designs, and keep coming up with more contest entries! I'll keep choosing winners until I'm ready to close the contest (the last contest ran for about four months), and you can win multiple times.

Even if someone else does have a "Hook up and score" design, the slogan might be the same but the design certainly would not be, and it's not like it's trademarked anyway.
