    Halloween!

So what's everybody doing for halloween?

I'm going to a party, for the first time in forever. My social life has been assimilated by school and fencing.

It's my mom's birthday, so out to a nice dinner.

Then, an overnight shift at work, followed by refereeing the next morning >.<

I'm not handing out candy like I did last year
It's embarrasing to give candy to people from my school and stuff.
This year I will be doing things with friends. Following the rules of Tick or Treating. TP, shaving cream, soap, ect. for houses that break those rules. I was also told to bring my cannon, but I have no idea what they have planned for that >_>

If those fall through though, I'll be heading off to 1 of 2 parties I was invited to. I'll most likely go to the one with the live entertainment and probably drugs.

If I didn't know that he'd kill me, I'd post a picture of him in the costume. The resemblance to the stereotypical white Jesus is uncanny. And the hair is his, not a wig.

I've always wanted to put a bible in my pants and tell random girls to "reach down and touch faith"
But I figured that's a little too offensive, even for me.

I will be on a bus, going to Penn State for the Penn State Open.

We will be doing what we usually do when we stay at a hotel. Halloween won't affect it, I don't think. Unless someone is planning something I don't know about, which is entirely possible.

Crom! Your moms a witch too?

I'd be doing dinner with mine but she's busy on Fridays. Which is good for me, because Friday is fencing night.

My Halloween celebrations mostly concern pumpkin carving. I'm too old for trick-or-treating, I don't dress up, and I'm never home to hand out treats. But I think I can carve a nice pumpkin.

The following are this years lot. I still have to do a fencing-themed one to take to the club on Friday.

I did these guys last Thursday. On Sunday morning, someone made off with the swords and the high winds had knocked down the victor. So I kept the heads and re-used the bodies except for the gashed one) to do more carvings. (The white pumpkins are called "Ghost Pumpkins.)

2008 Dodge Challenger. I carved this on Tuesday. My dog ran off with the lid while I wasn't looking She likes pumpkin.

Jack Skellington. Carved yesterday. I was gonna do him last year, but the pumpkin was rotten, so I waited 'til this year.

Phil, the University of Manitoba Faculty of Engineering mascot. He's a red lion, carrying a T-square and a stein of beer while wearing a hardhat. I carved him today, and he's going to be donated to the university. Whether they want him or not. The lettering you can just see at the top right in the first photo reads "ERTW", which stands for "Engineers Rule The World".

Rabid Monk, I owe you rep for those pumpkins. Your carving skill greatly exceeds my own (unless you used a stencil...cheater).

    These are my 2006 pumpkins.

    Not bad!

I'll be hiding in the bushes waiting to make kids wet their pants.

Ski mask + chainsaw with the chain taken off = scary.

run at the kids revving the saw and waving it around....screaming, of course.

Well of course I used templates..

But only Bone Jangles and the Challenger were tempates I got online. The others I drew myself.

The Bone Jangles I had to pay for and is therefore copyright, so I can't link it here.
The Challenger is free, you can find it here.

And don't worry. While the upcoming fencing pumpkin will be based off a picture I find online, the template adaptation will be made by me.

    Edit:

Here's the latest (and last) pumpkin:

I'm working at the Wal-Mart during the day, 9:30am to 6:30 pm, all day, but the upside is I get to wear a costume, so I'm going to wear my new kendo gear and play Japanese for a day. I should probably study up for a while...lol

Well, I didn't go out or anything today, but I did improvise my Masked Avenger costume when handing out candy. *shrugs*
