NJFA YOUTH CUP SERIES-Maplewood, NJ The 2008-09 New Jersey Fencing Alliance Youth Cup series is set to begin this saturday (sep 27). So far 157 fencers from over 35 clubs in US and Canada are registered. This series provides excellent tournament experience for young fencers. All born 1994-2002 are eligible. See more tournament info, cup info at askfred.net. On-line registration closes friday, sep 26. Walk-ins accepted (slightly higher fees).

Thanks for a nice event. It was well worth the 2 hour drive. There were some very good fencers (y14 foil was C2), it was suprisingly well organized for the size, and the kids all great time. It also looked to be a good opportunity for young refs to get experience in a very competitive environment. Nicely done.

NJFA Youth Cup #2/ Sunday Oct 12 The next event in the NJFA Youth Cup series is Sunday, October 12. On-line registration closes on Saturday Oct 11. Our September event featured 188 Y8-Y14 fencers from over 45 different clubs in US and Canada - and was a fantastic tournament experience!
You do not have to be in pursuit of Cup points to participate in each event - each tournament is separate. Our goal is to provide a first-class tournament experience for all our rising fencing superstars. Visit askfred.net (Mid-Atlantic Region) to register and get more info.

next event sunday november 2 third event in the series is set for sunday, november 2. we've changed a few of the event times, so check the listings carefully. No need to be in pursuit of Cup points to participate. Last two Y14 foil events were C2 - so great tournament experience for our young fencers.

on-line entry deadline nov 1 deadline for on-line registration for the nov 2 tournament is tomorrow, nov 1. So far over 160 young fencers have signed up to fence in what has become the top-notch tournament experience for our area. For the third straight tournament the Y14 foil event is a possible C2 !
... and don't forget, fall back... daylight savings time....
