shoe sizing

I'm planning on getting either D'Arts II's, Blades, or scimitars. Does anyone know anything about the sizing of these shoes? Whether they are big, small, narrow, wide? I currently where a size 8.5-9 in US MENS SIZE. What would this translate to for these shoes?

Also, how do these 3 shoes compare?

Adidas run narrow, the Scimitars and Blades are basically the same as the sole is the same, just different uppers.

The Scimitars/Blades run wider.

My size in a New Balance running shoe is my equivalent in the LP/HiTec shoes and they feel comfortable. The same size in Adidas is a bit tight and feels like I've had on climbing shoes at the end of a tournament.

Pretty much as Craig says. I always have to order a half size up in Adidas shoes, but I order my normal size in LP shoes.

do LP shoes use UK sizing or US sizing? Is it different if i buy from leon paul usa?

also, how grippy are these? I fence PSAL as well as normally, and sometimes have to go on a cafeteria/gym floor.

I normally wear a 9-9.5 in shoes but the LP Blade's 9 were too big. I probably would've had to go for an 8.5. But now I have the ballestras, so I won't be verifying that until later.

which out of D'art IIs, blades, and scimitars are the best? I know it depends on if its comfortable, etc. But i dont consider myself as having really wide or narrow feet. I can usually get my feet into narrow shoes snugly, and wider shoes feel fine too. But in terms of design/quality, which of them would yall recommend?
