YOU MAY PAY DUES AND ENTRY ANYTIME BEFORE THE DEADLINE. SCHOOLS CAN SEND IN BOTH FORMS AND FEES WHENEVER THEY LIKE SO LONG AS IT ARRIVES BEFORE THE DEADLINE (S).
I hope this helps teams by making the process easier.
There are 50 schools interested in attending. Of course not all will do so. However we expect a field in the mid to high 30s.
Please let us know IMMEDIATELY if you are coming or not. We need an early, accurate count to use to hire enough referees. If your team is not sure, I recommend paying dues in order to keep open the option to participate. If a school does not do that and then changes its mind, that school will NOT be able to fence.
In response to the membership that the host should NOT bear any cost for hosting, we have increased the dues and entry fees. The increases will help bring in referees when needed at any site. They are $ 75 membership, 350 for 1 gender, 500 for both genders.
Lastly, if you need the Tax ID # inquire either from Jon or Marshal. I am not going to give it out freely. Just contact them.
This year seems different already with many emailing me about information. Very good sign that Smith was a good event. We intend on improving in 2009 at Wisconsin.
Any concerns or questions, let me know. Look forward to seeing everyone at UW. It is one of the most beautiful campuses you will enjoy visiting.
Best,
Bruce
