Mezzo Cerchio

Mezzo Cerchio (also Ninth Parry, French Parry of High Septime, and Italian Parry of First)

Could someone describe? Its in the USFCA glossary but its one im not familar with. It havent seen it in any books. Aldo Nadi book On Fencing didnt go over Italian parry of First that I remember. I may know the action under another name. Is it simply parry seven held high?

mixing parry methodologies...

You get in trouble when you think of both french and italian and mix them up.

Mezzo is just a high/low parry on the same side... 4/7 is the most common mezzo I think.

It just describes a half circle. mezzo(half) etc. The blade akes a half circle as you move from 4 to 7.
