Without poking around to find more information I can't reliably say when it switched to E and under.

-B Yeah, it was a D and a U event for all six weapons. Twelve events in one small gym. Ugh. Pretty painful. I remember getting there when the doors opened and getting back to my room (about 10 minutes away, if that) at about 8 at night. -

These, as has been stated before, are arguments that must specifically take the potential consequences of actions into the reasoning behind the decision. It is not a mathematical logic debate, but a consideration based on possible outcome and desired effect. -

Ah yes, I'd forgotten the U events, not having been eligible for them when I moved to the area.

Not to mention a nice time catching up with people I had not seen in a while. Went home with two medals and a rather large plaque. I thought it was quite a bargain! (As Bill mentioned earlier, this season we were later than usual in getting the date/schedule out for this event. I personally know of some people who did not hear until it was too late to change previously made plans. A pity, but bound to happen when you have a volunteer organization made up of people with other jobs and other volunteer commitments. Also, holding it over labor day weekend might or might not have affected turnout. That's still up for discussion at our next Executive Committee meeting -- made up, by the way, by one voting member from each club plus several elected at-large members. Certainly not a dictatorship. In fact, every member of the division is invited to attend meetings and make their opinions heard -- in a forum much more effective/better suited than this thread, perhaps. However, usually, the same handful of people show up every time. The rest, don't bother/don't care about the division or how it's run -- until, of course, there's an issue that affects them personally.) -

Agree with the general sentiment, just wanted to make that point.

Array I'm currently doing data entry. If I stare at a spreadsheet for longer than 3 hours I'm likely to do harm to myself and others. I consider the time I spent reading and laughing at your witticisms a service to humanity.
