Is there a place to get fencing window stickers? As I drove into work today, I noticed all the cars with window stickers for a wide variety of activities. I wondered if there was a place to get fencing stickers to help increase publice awareness and generate curiosity for the sport. Maybe it is a simple way for all of us to help promote the sport based upon the success of our Olympians. -

Array you can find some on eBay, just type "fencing decal" into the search option. Also, I went to a custom sticker site and made one of those white oval stickers with the black letters, it says EPEE in the middle and "Touch All Over" along the bottom.

If the USFA were to reprint even the old bumper stickers they sent out with membership cards a few years ago it and members were to display them it would go a long way towards awareness -- the "Oh yeah, that was in the olympics" response folks sometimes have when you park next to someone at the market or such. Anyway my old sticker is getting ragged and I could use a new one anyway. How much can they be anyway? Cheap advertising.

Thanks. I took a look at Ebay.
I think I'm looking for something like RAC is talking about with the USFA logo. Frankly the USFA logo is attractive and pretty dynamic looking. I have an old AFLA patch and sticker from "way back", which I cherish, but it reeks of "old time". The new logo is much better for today.
Does someone out there have USFA logo stickers or can we get them produced? Better yet, can the USFA produce them and sell them and include them with the membership kit? -

Array I stuck the stickers that came with my membership kit on my car. Blecch, it's only been a week and they look like crap already. Stickers done right should be made out of UV-resistant vinyl. There's a great site called Stickercutting.com that can make similar, excellent stickers but the per unit price is pretty high.
You can also get vinyl done at any local sign shop, but it is similarly expensive.
I've got a few nice designs that I will eventually have made into stickers if you can wait that long. It's definitely good advertising. -

Array A while back Rick Shellhouse (www.escrimeusa.com) told me that he was getting a machine to make them. I would ask him if he has it going yet. I think he referred to them as "window flimsies" or "window flimsys." I am not sure of the spelling. -

Array I forget whose signature it was on this forum, but the link in it led me to this site: http://www.cafepress.com/gofencing
I haven't ordered anything from it, but decals and bumperstickers are available for all of his designs. Just drill in a bit and you'll find them. -

And I believe it is Go? Fencing? that has it as his sig. "LFM for Nationals Attunement. PST."

Array These are a few of my favorite fencing stickers from cafepress.com. Some men aren't looking for anything logical. Some men just want to watch the world burn. -

Array There are also some available at Pointed Comments. If there's anything you see on a shirt that you'd like on a sticker, just let me know and I'll add it!
'Scuse a little (more) shameless self-promotion. -
