Incidentally, I sort of imagined when I was a user that the "report a post" buttom was more or less meaningless, maybe dropped things into a queue that got looked at once a month. Actually, it's quite easy to chase down and eliminate if you use it. So use that button! |

Oh yeah, I have used that button, a lot. However, that 60 second reporting delay is a real nuisance if one tries to report a bunch of threads.

I often just look at the other posts the spammer has made or the links at the bottom of the thread for similar posts or the ones that have gone unnoticed and fallen through the cracks.
Annoying to have to turn 5 times of clicking the mouse and typing "ad" into a 5 minute process.
