I can, but slower. Throws off my whole pace. If I see a post that is short and harder to read, I'll skip it.
There's also other reasons that I can come up with, but I'm not going to go into detail about those as I tend to ramble.

The demon fish is an Irq in training.

Oh do tells us why you don't like it, 'cause there is no fencing until tomorrow, and no real fencing until next weekend when there is an enormous event out your way. The Cougar. Too bad fencergrl can't go with a name like that.

I will be out. I have RDG on the inside of my glove. If we fence I invite you to look at it..... Look closely. Forget that the hand lies, and the shoulder tells the truth ........ just watch the hand ......

    Hope to see you there.

    Sorry

    Demon: 666
Fish: Pescados (at least that is what I recall from my Spanglish)

In any case the important part is are you fencing in the Cougar next weekend?

    Second: if so what weapon?

I am at a bit of a disadvantage. They don't have a vets, and they won't let me fence womens, even though they are a little short, so I am going to have to fence open epee.

Nope, I won't be fencing. No USFA membership yet

No, I was. I'm just used to reading proper grammar on here.

I'm sorry, I though the name of the thread was "new to fencing." I see now that it is "new to communication." This has not been on topic for a while.
TTP, look at this as an exercise in writing for a specific audience. You are the relatively new one and it would simply be couturiers to make the effort.
I am far from prefect with my grammar, but hey, I started freshman English three days ago and have a lot to learn, but I find the 5th grade language arts is perfectly sufficient to meet the expectations of the common audience of these forums. Calm down.
Thanks, eh? No hard feelings, please?

Inquartata's been around for centuries, he knows quite a lot about tolerance. He just doesn't tolerate people in general.

*mistake since O is beside I on the keyboard* it windows NT

Besides if unrated China understand dis (as to insult) it is Gettysburg district attorney as well as English.

I have to spend that extra bit of time to reprocess that and it interupts my smooth reading.

Okay. I'm sorry everyone. I'll type like this from now on so you can get all of my respect. I understand what all of you mean. Just like I learning fencing, I should take whatever correction comes toward me. Thanks of all you.

Well on this board it is hard to tell sincerity from sarcasm, but in either case, you are using good reasoning and showing more that a little self-control.

In general fencers are very good students, and typing and writing on this board with this many well educated people watching is good practice.

There are two things that continuously make me proud of the next generation of fencers. First is how well you all do in school, and secondly, whether we beat you and you are beside themselves with chagrin, or you beat us and you are elated, either way, at the end we salute and shake hands..... Then we gloat or cry.

Enjoy the board and fencing. Hope to see you on the strip.

    Sam

    To the many hopefuls..

I find it very cute (sorry for my lack of vocabs) that we all here have aspirations, may it be in competing, or just recreational. But I just had one silly thought, wouldn't it be funny if the people who just started fencing in this forum, ended up competing in bouts in the future? I think that would be awesome.

I should eventually be competing in the future, along with a lot of other noobies in this forum.

Many of us fence each other a lot. I just do this f.net thing because I am not fencing; otherwise I would be fencing, not talking about fencing.

Sometimes I slip a little work in, but I try to keep that to a manageable level.
