| Definently getting that feeling. Archery and Fencing are the only olympic sports I really deep down care about. I watched everything live and now can't sleep because when I normaly would be snoozing I was yelling and screaming at the live videos. It's taking time to readjust to normal. |

| The fencing part of the Modern Pentathlon is now starting ... and live streaming video is available on nbcolympics.com. 35 round-robin 1-minute, one-touch bouts. Sounds crazy! |

| The withdrawal method never works.

| I see hell as a place where I shall have to watch continuously beach volleyball, diving, synchronized swimming (or is it ballet aquatique?), rhythmic gymnastic and the cycle road race.
If I commit minor genocide before I die perhaps they will add a few profiles of athletes who overcame incredible obstacles in their search for that elusive fifth place.
No, strangely enough, I do not suffer from withdrawal. Just the dread of having to watch figure skating, half-pipe and biathlon in 2 years time.
Thank God the EPL is back. And the Tri-Nations... |

| Don't forget that the BMX cycling finals are on soon.
Really!
At the Olympics!
True!
Or, you could try and find a dvd of the classic BMX Bandits, starring a 16 year old Nicole Kidman. Tall, skinny, freckles, and so much frizzy red hair. |

| Good thing for that one US rider who crashed and seperated his shoulder that there was a day delay. |

Whilst channel surfing I got to ask myself: If the above are indeed "sports at the Olympics" then why shouldn't the Olympics include Lumberjack Sports!! I think the Standing Block Chop would look amazing in the middle of the Olympic stadium...... |

Plus, it has a movie starring Nicole Kidman.
It's just, not Olympics. More X-Games. |
