What happened with Smart and Podznyakov?

WOW! What an incredible battle between Russia and USA. What happened with Keeth when Podz lost the point? I couldn't tell what Keeth was arguing? Was it someone stepping out of Russia's box prematurely or him hearing someone say halt, or something else all together?

I think all the details are in the thread above (Men's Team Sabre), but basically, Keeth stepped out (twice) before Poz started his attack. Judge raised his hand and called a stop to action, so Keeth stopped. Poz touched him, but it didn't count (Keeth was saying, He told me to stop, so I stopped).

There have been some comments about one or more Russians leaving the box. AFAIK, if this did happen, it didn't affect the outcome of the point.

From the video, it didn't look like he "stopped".

From my view, he slowed down considerably.

I like to think he didn't flat out stop because of his forward momentum...but that's because I believe Keeth Smart could do no wrong = P
