If you're interested, IM me on AIM at toolofthedevii <-- with two I's

Better than the live chat here which requires a browser window, and is relatively large... plus the live chat was empty except for Telk last time i checked :P |

| Gerek makes it look easy for his first bout.
Hopefully the rest will go as well as this one. |

I went to go get popcorn and I missed more than half the bout.

| And it's over, 15-3. Very quick. Hopefully *knock on wood* it bodes well for the next several rounds. |

| Anyone else see Michael Massik sitting down in the stands?
And Keeth Smart. Nice to see the team supporting each other.

| Non Panchan (who is fencing for Thailand, but fenced in the U.S. in college) got bounced in his first bout (against Mocek from Poland). He had the bout close at about 7-8, but came out of the second break with a too-hard attack that gave Mocek an easy parry-riposte, then got a bit tentative and stationary, and got hit a bunch of times on the straight attack as Mocek ran away with it. |

| The winner of Gerek vs. Zhu will draw Cassara, who just defeated Schlosser. Cassara is mixing up attack, riposte, and counterattack very effectively. |

| Guyart and LePechoux had an absolutely brilliant corps a corps at 8-11. Le Pechoux apparently hurt his balls pretending to fall and Guyart twisted his ankle while trying to make it look like Le Pechoux ran into him.
This is hilarious. The slow mo is must watch footage. You won't be sorry.
