| Sanzo seemed unsure of himself the entire bout, but Le Pechoux looked like he didn't know what to do with him. A lot of off-targets and near corps-a-corps.

| Something happened during the Cassara v Zhu bout was just a little bit unbelievable. At 13-12, they had to stop the bout for about 3-4 minutes because somehow the scorekeeper got confused and changed the score to 12-11. Can you imagine this sort of scoring confusion occuring in, say, tennis?
Roach, take note: this sort of amateurism is what keeps fencing off tv, not flicking.
What was more unbelievable is that Zhu appeared to honestly believe the score was 12-11, and bickered with everyone, extending the confusion (after which he regained his composure and won the bout). I've seen that sort of bush-league shenanigans at my local Podunk Open, but at the Olympic Games? For shame. | |
