Array Anyone recording the footage? My computer is too obsolete to run Silverlight, so I am wondering if any of you out there might be recording the NBC Internet feeds as they come in live. If you are and would be willing to help another fan by duping your recordings for me (I would pay for shipping, etc.), that would be amazing. I am particularly interested in the women's epee, but would like any footage available. Many thanks! -

Array I'll be recording on CBC's feed. They usually focus on one piste and tend to favour Canadian fencers but I'll be happy to make an extra copy. I've never done this, so I'm not sure how successful I'll be.
If you don't find any footage, I am certain Craig will have DVD's available.... $29.95 just in time for Christmas... Beer, it's whats for dinner! ~ a young snowboarding Canadian The meek don't want it! ~ sticker on a rock band's guitar -

Array I managed to capture a couple of hours of men's sabre last night, but only about half of what I expected. It's unwatchably choppy in places - have to make sure no-one else is sucking bandwidth tonight - and a large part of the promised coverage didn't happen. Couldn't stay up until 3:50 for the finals, so that got by me too.
What do you plan to use for capture? The feeds I'm seeing are live, no commentary, but with slo-mo replays when appropriate, and broadcast using the MMS (Microsoft Media Services) network streaming protocol. As far as I can tell, RealPlayer doesn't support capture of MMS, so either you're watching different streams from me or you might be disappointed when you come to capture. Might be worth trying it out first... Robert Smith

Array If anyone got the Pozdnyakov-Lopez bout... I would love a copy. That bout was one of the highlights. Beer, it's whats for dinner! ~ a young snowboarding Canadian The meek don't want it! ~ sticker on a rock band's guitar -
Has anyone figured out how to record streams or rewind footage from Microsoft Silverlight? I'm wondering if I can get some clips of bouts to put in our school library (we have very few fencing resources) -

I think I'll rely on my feminine wiles to get a copy from the CBC.... now where's that push-up bra? I got Camstudio. No sound, but if you adjust the capture settings, you can get pretty good results -
There's definitely going to be some torrents on this stuff, can't wait considering I can't watch it live -.- Wow, I'm still third top poster... # Posts Per Day: 15.18 Similar Threads -
