Asheville, NC Fencing

All this Olympic fencing has got me curious again if anyone fences in Asheville? I'm talking wired strips, going out to competitions, nationals, etc...

It's been too long since I've had a foil in my hand.

Anyone, anyone?

ASU has a club, but it may be for students only.

If I remember correctly, ASU is in Boone (though I guess they could have an Asheville campus). Might actually be an easier trip to see what's available in Greenville, SC..

You're pretty much out of luck for modern sport style fencing. An older guy named Bernie still teaches classes at a dance studio though I think.
