By Craig, man, how many times and ways can I die?
Perhaps we should start a new thread, "101 Ways to Kill the Lady Ledgerto."

Array Steve, Your writing is excellent.
I suggest that you ask Lady Moon if she needs an assistant.
I apologize my good man for not commenting earlier. I've been very busy preparing for the great tournament in the west. The time is near for the great event. Thousands will compete(at least two). It will be a grand event.
Have you thought anymore about the position of Sheriff? We would love to have you in the service of the crown and our good land of Arconia. Im eager to hear more of your writing.

Sherriff? Sure. what with all these murders and such... lol
Thanks for the comment, A. I think the last two parts were a bit rushed, and got shorter. The very last part was really just a bit of fun, a pop at Georgie baby.
Good luck at the tourney to all going, aexcept Georgie baby who I hope gets serverely injured.

I am spitting kitty. Ftt Fttttttt. I am angry bear. Grrrrr. I am large watermelon seed stuck in your nose. Zermmmmmmmmmm. I am small biting spider in your underwear. Yub yub yub. I am shameless plagiarizer chuckling you with others' words. -
Oh, crap.
I've done myself into a corner and can't think how to move the story on.... I apologise for keeping anyone remotely interested in this story on tenterhooks.
Normal service will resume, once I can concentrate properly.
Sorry.
Steve.
I think moon would agree that I have a case of writer's block... I wouldn't know.

Array Steve, as a HUGE proponent of literacy & writing, I'll have to say that it's great you're contributing.
See, gang...writing has been the one constant in my life for 20 years. I adore putting a pen to paper. In fact, I HAVE to write. There are stories that burn in me until they force me to write them down. It's my passion.
Writing is important to me, that's why I'm a little more defensive of Fantasy Land. I'm proud of those of you who contribute in a positive manner. Granted, there ARE flamers, but they are really of no concern. I have a plaque sitting on my desk that reads "Do What You Love." Writing is my love. A jealous, bitter person with no love to speak of will never take me away from my craft. In fact, it is a reason to work HARDER.
So, remember...when someone comes in here to complain, ask yourself why they do it. Is it jealousy? Misery? We really should feel sorry for people like that, because they are not secure (or brave) enough to do what we do. If there was any shame in being a writer...no books would be around today.
And by the way, if you just want to dabble, go for it. If you want to have a perfectly written piece, knock yourself out. The most important thing to do is have fun. REAL fun. Not the shallow kind of "fun" that nasty people have. "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."

My god Moon, How profound.
I see you feel extemely deeply about writing, and now I understand fully why you are so protective over Arconian threads.

Array Steve,
Not only do I love writing, I love to encourage the art in others. This gives me great joy. If people want to "escape" for a little while, then what better way to do it? It's more healthy than drugs, and keeps our minds strong.
Here's an interesting piece of info: In order to fight the onset of Alzheimer's, doctors encourage people to challenge their minds. Writing is a challenge of the mind. Yes, even in our little Fantasy Land.
I think some of the more angry folk should try some honest to goodness story telling. It might do them some good. What are they afraid of? "Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind."
