    Photoshop is king. But if you don't want to shell out the big bucks, Paint Shop Pro is also very good for most stuff.

    I don't think Adobe really minds... They have so many products and they sell thousands of licenses at a time to large companies. They have plenty. It's not like they were going to get my money otherwise.

    I don't think any non-company pays for it... so easy to find a crack. There's more cracks for it than there are for age of empires :O
