Each division has their own by-laws on when to reelect officers. I think most have an annual cycle.
Youth committee has a 2-year cycle, I believe, with overlaps and members are chosen by the national office's head.
FOC has a 4 year (maybe 3 year?) cycle. -
I'm not aware of any term limits, as far as a person only being allowed to hold a post for a certain period of time before they become ineligable. -

Array Committee chairpersons (Youth Committee) are appointed by the USFA VP with for oversight of that committee. The chairperson appoints the members of the committee. Committee appointments are usually for the same quandrenial (4-year) cycle as the officers...unless there are resignations. -

There will be accountability to and from the new administration. Committee appointments with the exception of the FOC are annual appointments at the September BOD Meeting. It may have seemed that they were appointments for the Quad but that isn't so.

And technically, all national committee appointments (including the chairs) are by the President as confirmed by a vote of the Board of Directors (although delegation of authority is not unheard of), with the exception of "athlete" members, who are appointed by the Athlete Advisory Group.
It's pretty much all in the bylaws, nospam, either at the national, sectional, or divisional level. Since the suborganizations have their own bylaws, YMMV depending on geographically where you are... "Better living through chemistry." Similar Threads -
