Baldini has been number one for two years but lost to Joppich in the last two world finals. "Yes, he's starting to be a problem," Baldini joked in an interview with Reuters. "Peter is ... and always ready for the big match, but also a good man outside the piste."
Really made me laugh, can't wait to see that big match. -

Following these investigations, the FIE Executive Committee was
consulted and it decided to apply the decision taken during the 2007
Congress in Madrid (ESP) , starting from March 15, 2008 : The use of wireless apparatus and masks with transparent visors are
compulsory in the following women’s and men’s foil competitions:
- Individual events of the Grand Prix competitions, World
Championships and Olympic Games, from the table of 32
onwards;
- Team events of the team World Cup and of the World
Championships, from the top 8 teams;
- Team events of the Olympic Games, from the beginning of the

"As the exact circumstances of the accident mentioned above need to
be investigated, it has been decided that the obligatory use of the
mask with a transparent visor in foil is temporarily suspended."
I don't recall anything else ever mentioning it was being reinstated.
