    ESPN Fan Sports Guide

It's an interactive diagram of fencing, simplified and then some history underneath, as part of the ESPN Olympic center.

    Wow.
I am amazed. This animation was surprisingly indepth and mostly accurate. I've never seen an introduction to fencing done this way, or done this well in general. Of course there are things to quibble about, little inaccuracies or awkwardly worded explanations along the way (in an animation showing a lunge and a fleche side by side they label the fleche "the arrow") but I must repeat: Wow.

Thank you seak, this is a great find. I'm very impressed.

edit: Under "Stars" I would have liked to see some more recent names. All-time greats of the sport, such as Pozdniakov and Vezzallli are still competing today, I think that as well as perhaps throwing in some prominent (and dominant) American names would have done well to attract interest to the sport.

Ooooh, cool... I totally agree with whtouche. Pretty good, but you ask any fencer, and they'd know non-fencers were putting this together.

I think I've found the source of some of the awkward phrasing. It probably was originally written in French and then someone unfamiliar with fencing translated it to English.

    Still an excellent introduction.
