Array This isn't live chat. I think it's time to cool it on the new threads for awhile. -

Note: Stewen1, if you didn't understand either one of those things, you shouldn't be posting more than one new thread a week yet. -
You can go to the USFA Website on Member Listings. There you can find a complete list of members in the three divisions in Florida along with the weapons they fence. Club listings are also on the USFA website. Check it out! -

Array Besides, if this thread annoys you, why stop to read it? Just scroll on past it.
Its like complaining about bad TV while you continue to watch... -

I just think he should post more replies than new threads, and that he'll spend more time AND be more beneficial to the community if more of his posts are more than a sentence or two. -

But if it bothers you, why not just ignore him? (I happen to be curious about Florida fencing since my parents live there and I visit often....but not often enough to go through the USFA member listing, etc. Just curious.) -

Some of us here try to alert new posters to the cultural expectations of what goes on in the forum. If no one did this, soon the culture would be that people would post 5 new threads in a day, some of which are good, some of which are whatever, and some of which are bizarre or lazy. People would post more in 3 year old threads than recent threads, and new people would do this, because the old people would do it too.
It wouldn't be a matter of one person occasionally grabbing a necro thread, or one of two annoying people. It would be a board that most of us wouldn't want to be a part of.....
And eventually it would be FencingSucks.
This thread is fine. The thread asking about a 4 year old document, wanting it in English, when it's already available online in English? Not as useful. Not horrible, not mean, not terrible. Just enough to mention what the culture is here. -

Array I wouldn't say that FL is a SMALL fencing state. It could be worse. -

Anybody who fences at NACs has probably been reffed a number of times by posters on here. I was trying to think why your name was familiar until HDG provided the event category. -
