| Name: Kliff Fauldergraft (deceased, age 34)
Profession: Unemployed. Former Royal Geologist of Muu
Siblings: Younger brother, Rusty Fauldergraft, a blacksmith. Works in the Muu city of Ironwood.
Parents: Misty and Patrick Fauldergraft. They are retired and living with Rusty.
Background: Once upon a time the Fauldergraft clan owned huge tracts of Muu land and were very wealthy. The ancestors of Lord Tellurine cheated the Fauldergrafts out of their lands many years ago, leaving the family’s wealth to slowly diminish to the point where Kliff’s generation had to go to work. He put his love for geology to use by becoming the Royal Geologist of the King of Muu. Unfortunately, all that the King of Muu was interested in was finding gold and other precious minerals, and fired Kliff when he couldn’t deliver. During his tenure at the castle he befriended Meekal who he pitied and introduced the world of geology to.
Adventures: Since geologists don’t normally have adventures his life was pretty dull until he met up with Meekal again years later. Meekal, being a magnet for trouble, gave Kliff numerous adventures, and unfortunately died during one when an arrow meant for Meekal hit him instead.
Looks: He was 5’6” and had dirty blonde hair… in fact most of him seemed dirty. His love for all things earthly showed in his appearance, as you’d rarely find him squeaky clean.
Skills: Geology and making lonely princes feel special.

| Name: “Wooden” Bob Rumsfed
Profession: Fur trapper and Bitter End patron
Siblings: None.
Parents: Jacquelyn and Jeffery Rumsfed
Background: Bob left home (With both legs) as a young boy to boldly seek adventure, vowing to return when he found some. Except for saving one maiden from two ruffians in the woods, he failed to find any adventure, forcing him to never return home. Years later he came to a startling realization and fell off his horse, breaking his leg, which eventually had to be amputated. He now sports a wooden leg and needs large amounts of liquid refreshment to help him forget how he never found adventure, never saw his parents again, and lost a leg by falling off a horse.
Adventures: Except for the aforementioned maiden rescue, he never found any.
Looks: Long since past are the days of his youthful adventure seeking when he was young and strapping. These days his 5’5” frame sports a bloated belly and a double chin. Although he is used to getting around with his wooden leg, he doesn’t travel fast as there is never anyplace he NEEDS to be. He has a thick head of unkempt black hair and an unshaven face.
Skills: He could drink anyone under the table while standing on one (real) leg.

Parents: King William and Queen Embeth Marsteria, both running Marsteria in joint council.
Background: Grew up with Lady Willow and Princess Buffy. He has loved Willow his entire life. Moved away from Schoolcraftia at age 9, due to his grandfather, the King of Marsteria, dying and his father having to succeed the throne. He came across a kidnapped and drugged Willow, and now they are expecting a baby and engaged (if he can ever get her to set a date....). He was trained at an early age, how to use weapons and how to be a military advisor, and has many other talents not yet known.
Adventures: He found Willow when journeying to Arconia to see her after 11 years of separation. He has helped to keep the castle safe from enemies, rioters and other assorted troubles.

| Name: Senyik Devlinn
Profession: Blacksmith, currently as a journeyman.
Siblings: None
Parents: Missing, presumed deceased
Background: Trained as a blacksmith from birth, joined the local army at 15. Served for about two years, becoming very good, and quickly working up to berserker. Got sick of the pointless killing, left. Discovered a charred spot where his house used to stand, no sign of parents. Unkown whether parents are alive or not, or if fire was accidental. Stayed for a time with the parents of Larya Kerlinten, his best friend since her birth, a year after him. He is eighteen, she seventeen. Was out wandering with her as they frequently did when he ran into one of the royal criers bringing news of the tournament. Decided to go to Arconia to enter.
Adventures: Numerous campaigns in his time in the military. Plenty of smaller adventures while wandering with Larya.
Looks: Black hair and eyes, six foot tall, a lithe two hundred pounds of dense blacksmith. Just generally big, sometimes considered handsome.
Skills: Blacksmithing, hand-to-hand combat, sword combat, tactics and strategy, and navigation.

Background: Senyik's closest friend since she was born, she suffers middle-child syndrome. Has been confined and sheltered and monitored her whole life. Highly intelligent, if naive. Parents attempting to marry her off to one rich suitor after another, to no avail.
Adventures: Various wanderings with Senyik, and countless close escapes from the house and overprotective parents.
Looks: A tiny thing, five feet two inches, just shy of a hundred pounds. Senyik's favorite plaything when he wants to toss something around. Nearly white hair, pale blue eyes. Finely built and beautiful.

Profession: Royal Crier
Parents: Phillip and Helene Rigger
Siblings: And older brother, John.
Background: Little. Had a good formal education, emphasis on writing and public speaking. Always the most talkative kid in his classes. Spent most of his time writing, reading, playing with friends, etc. A very normal, boring childhood. Now nineteen, but little different aside from formally being a crier.
Adventures: Few. Until just now, assigned always to jobs within the kingdom, most right within the main city. Had an uneventful trip north, until it took an exciting turn when he met the blacksmith-soldier and his cute little friend.
Looks: Medium height, a few inches short of Meekal. Thin build, with sharp features and a large nose. Always feels awkward and gangly, but for some reason he can't fathom, many girls seem to find him cute. Not quite handsome, but cute in a shy sort of way.
Skills: Talking is the main one. A good student, he also has skills in academics, and is even an excusable fencer and runner. Good at writing as well, and surprisingly a decent conversationalist. Has been occasionally accused of being "charming", but will vehemently deny the charges if asked.

| Name: Harold Wesley (Age 11)
Profession: Kitchen servant
Siblings: None
Parents: Gladys and Michael Wesley. She is the head of the castle chambermaids and he is a groundskeeper.
Background: Harold’s family lived on a plot of land that was owned by the von Schmect family. After drought had decimated the crop one year the von Schmects had them evicted and the family went to Arconia City to seek help from King Arcon. King Arcon gave Gladys and Michael jobs in the castle and gave them servants’ quarters to live in. When Harold was old enough (10) he began working in the kitchen under the domineering, but grandmotherly leer of Nani. When Harold isn’t working or doing his school studies he spends time with Anton, the stable boy, who is his best friend.
Adventures: Life as a kitchen servant was dull until one day when a flustered Lady Rosaline asked the boy to deliver a platter of sandwiches to two prisoners in the castle tower. The prisoners were Meekal the Daft and Kliff Fauldergraft, who then escaped when Harold opened the tower door. A few days later he found himself taking tea to the von Schmects as they waited for an audience with Queen Zelda. During that incident he told off his old landlords, going as far as calling Baroness von Schmect “an old hag.” Not too long after that he heard yelling coming from the private suite of Willow, the sorceress-in-training, and he burst open the door, without regard for his own life. These may seem like small adventures, but to Harold they were the foundation for the courage that would take him on the most exiting adventure of his life yet.
Looks: He is a young boy with a head full of red hair.
Skills: Getting into trouble.

| Name: Captain Johann Smithe
Profession: Retired Sea Captain
Siblings: Sisters: Frieda, Georgette (deceased), and Antoinette (deceased). Brothers: Romeo and Robert (Lost at sea).
Parents: Velma (Still living in Paugautauny Bay) and Horatio Smithe (deceased).
Background: The son of a fisherman, Johann grew up in the coastal town of Paugautauny Bay. Taught the ways of the sea when he was a mere boy he was apprenticed to a cargo ship called The Floating Dragon where he was cabin boy to Captain Nicholas Hightower, a decorated veteran of the Island Wars. His head filled with the numerous stories of adventures that the sea held, he soon had his own ship, The Leaking Bucket, and was carrying cargo throughout the Great Northern Sea, discovering new lands and opening new ports in the process. Years later, as he stood on the deck of his ship one foggy morning he saw the great sea monster, Mightor, the Ship Swallower (Which he had earlier named Larry, before he had sobered up.) His life then changed as his new mission was to find this sea creature again. He never did. When he finally retired, his reputation was ruined, his personal fortune was spent, and relations with his mother (Who had been aboard his ship these many years) were strained. He penned an autobiography called, “Lessons Taken from the Sea” which became a huge seller. He was asked to come out of retirement by Dr. Abernathy who hired him to find King Arcon.
Adventures: See: “Lessons Taken from the Sea”
Looks: Tufts of white hair stick out from a black cap worn frequently on his head. His skin is rough from years of being at sea and at the mercy of the sun. He is 5’10” and has dark eyes that are hardly visible through his usual squint.
Skills: He knows the Great Northern Sea better than any other seafaring man.

| Name: Brother Emmanuel
Profession: Friar
Siblings: Unknown
Parents: Unknown
Background: Left at the doorstop of Schoolcraftia’s Royal Order Fraternity of Friars as a baby, the only link to his origins is the name Emmanuel, which had been pinned to his blanket. He was raised within the halls of the stuffy fraternal order, forgoing a normal childhood, instead spending days mopping floors and cleaning dishes when he wasn’t being taught the ancient rituals of the friars. When he became the youngest to pass the fraternity’s final exams he was quickly assigned to the Schoolcraftia Castle where he became the right hand man under Friar Theodore Wilkinson, the throne’s personal friar. When Friar Wilkinson passed away a year later (Rumor was Brother Emmanuel meddled him to death.) he was instated as the royal friar, where his meddling reached every corner of the royal palace. A sigh of relief came over the castle when he was called away to Arconia to deliver a book to Willow, the sorceress-in-training.
Adventures: He could talk your ears off with stories on how he has battled evil over the years, but none of these really count as adventures, as they are only adventures in his head.
Looks: He is short (4’9” ) , fat (size 62 in a robe), and can break sweat standing up from a chair. He does have all his hair, which is a light brown.
Skills: Meddling, getting in people’s way, and being a nuisance.

| Name: Holly Dayye
Profession: Owner and proprietor of the Holly Dayye Inn
Siblings: 3 Sisters: Dolly (Owns her own bakery), Molly (Who claims to be unsinkable), and Polly (middle name: Esther).
Parents: Justyne and Edward (Both deceased)
Background: Holly fell in love with one of her father’s farm hands, Everett Dayye, and married him on her 17th birthday. The dowry her father gave them was an old cabin in the middle of the woods. They moved there and fixed it up as an inn for those traveling between Muu and Arconia. Business was terrible at the “Dayye’s Inn” for the first ten years, as nobody coming through the forest knew they were there. Then one day, a customer delivering a cart full of wooden boards to a construction site further down the road from the inn had no money to pay, so he offered to use some of his boards to put signs up along the forest road telling people about their establishment. The customer, who went by the name of Bill, did just that and “Bill’s Boards” increased business at the inn tenfold. Everett Dayye was well known for taking peculiar payments for his services. Live chickens, fresh fruit, and even agreeing to clean the inn’s stables were all he would ask, much to the chagrin of his long-suffering wife, Holly, who yearned for the finer things in life, but for some reason, not a clean stable. These unusual payments ceased when a client paid Everett with the sharp end of a sword, leaving Holly a widow and sole owner of what she now called, “The Holly Dayye Inn.”
Adventures: If cooking and cleaning for ungrateful customers is what you call an adventure, then she’s had it up to her ears with it.
Looks: Long gone are the days of her youthful beauty. After thirty years of working at the inn and raising three kids who were smart enough to move far away, her figure is a much larger shell then it used to be. She doesn’t have the time to “put on her face” in the morning and dressing up for strangers doesn’t appeal to her, so what you see is what you get.
Skills: Cooking, cleaning, and grumbling about the cooking and cleaning.

| Name: Friar Laurence O’Malley
Profession: Friar
Siblings: Francis (Deceased)
Parents: Annabelle and Douglas (Deceased)
Background: Laurence O’Malley wasn’t always a man of the cloth, but when the call came it was like a church steeple had fallen on him. In actuality, it had just missed him, but it did hit his brother, Francis, giving him a nasty gash on his right arm. Turned out that the local Friar had been skimming from the building fund for the new steeple, so that when the bell was rung that fateful morning, the whole thing went crashing down. Laurence found the Friar’s actions to be inexcusable, and decided that people needed a religious leader that they could trust. He told his parents that night he wasn’t going to work in the family business, which was ironically steeple repair, but instead was going to join the Order. His mother cried, his father tried to talk him out of it, and younger brother Francis began moving his stuff into Laurence’s larger bedroom. When Laurence finally passed his exams and became a Friar he stayed true to his word and was truthful, kind, and everybody’s friend. There isn’t a single person in Arconia City who Friar Laurence doesn’t know and care about and when on one blustery day his own steeple collapsed he was proud to know that the cause was merely rotting wood and that he could get a great deal on the repair.
Adventures: To Friar Laurence O’Malley everyday is an adventure, waiting to be explored and embraced. Plus, when one has to go under a steeple everyday of one’s life and one has the track record with steeples that O’Malley has… Well, that’s an adventure.
Looks: 4’9”, thinning gray hair, a constant smile and bright blue eyes.
Skills: Lifting a person’s spirits, quelling fears, and being a friend to all.

| Name: Ophelia Roenseller (Age 22)
Profession: Part-time waitress at the Bitter End Pub
Siblings: Younger sister, Peggy (Age 13)
Parents: Beth and Jonathon Roenseller (both deceased)
Background: The Roensellers were wealthy landowners with land bordering von Schmect land. Ophelia had a sheltered childhood and spent most of her life on the family estate. She found the boys and young men she met at social functions lacking the excitement she vowed to someday find. Whenever she met anyone from Arconia City she would pick their brains for information about city life and what the royals were up to. One night there was a terrible, but mysterious, fire that destroyed the Roenseller estate and killed her parents, leaving just her and her younger sister. The neighboring von Schmects were upon them the next day, offering to buy their land. Not knowing what else to do, and looking to set off to the city, Ophelia sold the family land to the von Schmects, who paid handsomely, but did so happily. Ophelia and Peggy then went to Arconia City to live with their mother’s sister, their aunt, locally known as: the Widow Pellingsworth. Ophelia desperately wants to find her way into the higher social circles and got a job at the Bitter End (against her Aunt’s wishes) because she knew people from the castle often went there. She’s certainly not as bright as her bookish younger sister, but she an engaging, delightful young woman.
Adventures: None yet.
Looks: She is 5’8”, has long golden blonde hair, and a smile that could light a room.
Skills: Turning men’s heads.

Siblings: Older sister: Ophelia
Parents: Parents: Beth and Jonathon Roenseller (both deceased)
Background: The Roensellers were wealthy landowners with land bordering von Schmect land. Peggy had a sheltered childhood and spent most of her life on the family estate, spending a lot of time in the library and becoming more knowledgeable on many subjects then her tutors were. She’s also more than a little jealous of her prettier older sister, Ophelia, although often delights in showing off her higher intellect. One night there was a terrible, but mysterious, fire that destroyed the Roenseller estate and killed her parents, leaving just her and Ophelia. The neighboring von Schmects were upon them the next day, offering to buy their land. Ophelia sold the family land to the von Schmects and they went to Arconia City to live with their aunt, Widow Pellingsworth. Peggy needs constant knowledge and information from keeping from being bored with life. She has no time for boys, little use for putting on social airs, and could care less if people make fun of her when she tells them about her fairy godmother, Petunia, who was a friend of her mom’s.
Adventures: None yet.
Looks: She’s a little pudgy for her 5’2” height, has long light brown hair which is normally up, has glasses, a few remaining freckles from her earlier childhood, and a nose that’s usually buried in a book.
Skills: She is walking encyclopedia, able to retain any information she comes across.
