Leon Paul sabre blades

I just have a few questions.
Is it normal for a lp sabre blade to be square? (similar to a foil blade)
If yes-Is there a front and back to it? How can I identify it.

And what size allen wrench will fit a sabre?

LP Sabre blades are usually described as having an H shape. Front and back, I am not sure of. I tell top and bottom by the way the end curls. I am right handed and I pick the top so that the curl at the end goes counter clockwise as I look down at the tip.

I prefer this orientation so the end of the blade does not expose the end of the curl after I have put a slight curve in it. This orientation is less likely to rip my opponent's jacket or Lame.

The Sabre pommels that I have seen use a 6 mm inside hex wrench, the same as for a Foil or Epee pistol grip.

A number LP sabre blades are very square.

The Paul Etoile has an "I" cross section and if you have no tang in it does not have a particular true or false edge. (front/back)

The Paul France blades have a "Y" cross section that seems to be cut from a foil blade and thus do have a true/false edge.

I love LP to death but their lower end sabre blades aren't phenomenal.
