There is word that Mango, having been locked up for spying, has escaped from the castle at Arconia. I have the strangest feeling that she is coming after me, especially after that journal entry yesterday, & the words "try & stop me." Try & stop her from what? Exacting revenge on Arconia? Revenge on me? What? By the way, these outlying villagers are wealths of information.

I am closer now to the kingdom of Muu. I think someone may be following me, but every time I investigate, they disappear. This is not good...not good at all. I must live, to save Arconia. I only hope that if I must marry a prince of Muu, it is not Meekal the Daft. I think I would rather die.
