Drifting in Coma Land....

[Willow]

As Lady Willow lies helplessly, stuck between life and death, she contemplates what has been done to her. "Who is strong enough to put me under such a spell? Who is the father of the child within my womb? Why am I talking to myself instead of trying to find a way out of this la-la limbo?"

Queen Zelda sits by Willow's side, anxiously studying her face, looking for SOME sign of life or recognition. She is frantic with worry. Her King is in the midst of a crises, Lady Moon has disappeared, a soldier from Muu has vanished somewhere inside the castle, and now this. Would Arconia be able to survive? Zelda takes a deep breath and says, "Willow, Willow, we need you to come back to us. Only you have the power to find Moon. Please, you MUST wake up."

"I hear you, my Queen," Willow answers in her mind, "I just can't seem to find my way back. The book...perhaps in my Yellow book, Spells for Dummies, perhaps the answer lies there."

Willow contemplates her fate. "Which magician has the power to hurt me so? He or she is very powerful. But, obviously not TOO powerful, or I would be dead by now. Is it Zip? Or someone else? Who wants to destroy Arconia? Someone from Muu or a traitor to Arconia? How did I get with child? Whose child am I carrying within my womb? The only thing I can think of is when I was kidnapped and drugged. Did something happen, then? Somehow, I feel that King Arcon has a clue that could save me. Perhaps Lady Jane will find something if she looks through my books. Will the Sword of Youth or the Water of Life help me? Will something else?"

Queen Zelda gasps as she sees a single tear fall from Willow's open eyes.

Elvis looked fondly into the nursery, smiling down at Willow and realizing it was all his fault "love me tender, love me...." etc was all he could say before the door slammed open and in walked none other but a magician from another land, the land of Mangolia called Curtis. "Currrrrrrrtiiiiiisssss" hissed Elvis, "CurrrRRRRRTITTTTTIIIISSSSSSSS, I command you...." but before Elis could work out the rest of his command, Curtis, the Magician performed a strange ritual in the room. Willow took one look at the entire thing, got up and ran down the hallway, "nurse, nurse, there's a man in the room". The nurse ran down the hallway and confronted the magician, she was a big nurse, about six foot tall and 185 pounds, she'd worked in telementry before and could deal with any type of kook. "i don't want any nonsence from either one of you" she demanded of both Elvis and the dreadful Curtis. "I want you both to dissapear and let willow get her rest, she is suffering from pseudo pregnancy and after she passes about 1/2 pound of compressed gas she'll be alright". She marched out of the room and prepared the gas de-compressor.

As I watched Willow cry after Rosaline had left (see Sword of youth thread) I felt like there was an intruder in my Brain. A little voice that was NOT my concinous (spelling?) was whispering
"Yellow book, Spells for Dummies... Yellow Book, Spells for Dummies"
I tried to block it out, however it just became more insistant.
"Willow is that you?" I asked in my head as the voice became frantic...
"Yes my Queen, the answer may be in my yellow book, Spells for Dummies, try there"

I rose from my seat and walked to the extensive library which Willow had assembled on one side of her chambers. Scanning the titles I found the book she was refering to. What is was doing between the Karma Sutra and "Black Magic for the curious Spell caster" I dont know but anyhow.
I turned on another candle and turned to the index... now what should I look under?

[Willow]

"Oh, please let Queen Zelda know what I need for her to do. Please let her pay no mind to the fact that my Yellow Spell book is in between the Kama Sutra and Black Magic For the Curious Spellcaster. Those books were given to me as trophies on my travels, for helping those in need. Besides, it's pretty neat to have personally autographed copies of rare books." Willow willed with all of her being for Zelda to be able to find a way to "unghost" her. Something was terribly wrong. Willow's inner sense for the Lady Moon was sounding an alarm.

Zelda began to search through the spell book, praying to find something that would help. Most of the spells seemed pretty routine....wait, what was that one? "If the need for help is great enough..." What did that mean? Zelda began to read the spell.

"If the need for help is great enough, almost any spell can be broken. The first ingredient necessary is faith. The second is love. The third is the desire to do good, and not evil."

Zelda gasped...."We certainly seem to fit those requirements," she thought. Reading further, Zelda discovered that the other ingredients needed were simple and at her disposal. Apparently, the one who cast the spell on Willow had used an elaborate and complicated spell and list of ingredients. And, it was the most simple things that could undue his or her harm. Zelda sent one of her ladies in waiting to retrieve from the garden one rose from each of the beds: red, pink, yellow, white, peach, and lavender. These six flowers were placed in Willow's hands. Then, six white candles were lit and arranged around Willow's head and shoulders. When this task was completed, Zelda stood at the foot of the bed and began to read from the spell book:

"In this time of crises,
In this time of need,
We humbly ask for help,
To break this evil deed,
Undo this evil spell,
Bring Willow back from harm,
Destroy this solitary hell,
Reverse this wicked charm."

Then, as per instructions, Zelda proceded to extinguish the white candles one by one. As the last candle was blown out, Willow began to mumble and stir. Zelda looked on in joy and gladness as Willow sat up. But she was in no way prepared for what Willow had to say.

"I am with child and Moon is a prisoner of Muu!"

Overcome with emotions and the draining of her energy because of casting this spell, Zelda faints.

AS I fell I hit my non fencing hand hard, and it started swelling.
"Oh dear" thought Willow, what have I done now!!

Groggy, & a bit confused, Queen Zelda awoke. A figure rushed in, standing in the doorway. "Oh my!" Zelda shrieked. Standing there in her knickers, tunic & bare feet, dirty & disheveled, was Lady Moon herself.

She ran to Willow & took her hand. "What happened? What's going on?"

"I am with child!" Willow sobbed.

"WHAT?"

"And...you were...abducted?"

"Well, yes. It's been a week. That rotten Lord Tellurine took me to Muu, & the king was going to make me marry Meekal the Daft." Lady Moon explained.

"Um...who is Meekal the Daft?" asked Zelda.

"The OTHER prince of Muu." Moon looked around. "By the way, where's Angel?"

"Well...he went looking for you," the queen admitted.

"No! If his father catches him, it will surely mean death. He told me himself that that was Angel's fate." The women gasped. "And the king is REALLY in a bad mood by now." Moon explained what had happened to her when she was gone.

"Oh boy. I think we ought to get Arcon in on this."

Willow's mind was spinning at everything going on. Moon was safe, but Angel was in mortal danger. Where was King Arcon? And, she still had no idea who the father of her unborn child was. Willow applied a poultice to Zelda's hand, to ensure that it would heal fast. "Where do we go from here, my Queen?," she asked.

Zelda replied, "I wish I knew, Willow. We have to find Angel. I hope Arcon hurries home. We need his guidance and leadership."

Moon turned to Willow and asked her, "When did you get pregnant?" "I wish I knew. The nearest I can recall is something must have happened when I was kidnapped. I just wish I knew the who and why of the situation."

"Hmmm, a child conceived while the mother was unconscious," said Moon, "it's not often nowadays that you hear of sitations such as this." Willow blushed and said, "Someone must have taken advantage of me while I was drugged. My parents are going to be so upset."

Moon sighed and said, "Well, what's done is done. The important thing now is to keep you both as healthy as possible."

So now we know George. George, if you want to trash pornography which I would be glad to help you with, you should start by joining a legitimate anti-pornography organization, of which there are many in the united states. they have great difficulty in finding support and if you are sincere, you could be a good addition. The way the others write is harmless for the most part, and they respond very well to the mild rebuke.
I don't know what to say, they don't seem as hostile a you. You can easily turn stories around, by writing your own goofy scenerio: let WIllow know that she's not having a baby, that it's just gas, and a little gas-X wouldn't hurt her. On the other hand, if the subject matter and the way it's presented is the initial problem, then why not write to the board expressing why you are really offended. I think it offends your religious concepts, which is your right, but you also have to realize that these other people have other ways of looking at things. I think you could benefit from 4-5 weeks of watching old re-runs of Lucy and learn to laugh a bit. Sometimes I read this stuff and wonder at the mindset myself, but then i realize later on, oh (explicative) she's going to get KILLED, i better write her out of this mess, why can't you?

Willow rushed to her chamber pot and retched. "I thought pregnancy was supposed to make me glow with happiness....I'm only glowing because of the heartburn," she thought. Leaning back into her chair, she sighed. "How do I go about finding out exactly what happened to me? I can't do it alone. Someone must help me. Someone who has special talents. Perhaps I should ask the Queen to help me find out what happened. I know one of my books must have a spell that can help me discover the who's, the when's, and the why's."
