Array The End(style and with honor) I think the patrons of fencing.net will soon be sick of the heated personal battle between myself and "The Space".
So, i have a solution.
Im suggesting a bout. A 30 touch bout.. with no rest periods. First one to 30 points wins. If you cant finish the bout, you're defeated.
Should i be defeated, Arconia will be history.
Should you be defeated ,you'll agree to simply go away.
Where do you fence Space?
I have the money for travel this i promise.
If you decline this offer, ill consider you defeated and ill have nothing more to say to you.

Array I dont care if you're an "A" so whats the problem? Again I say, Where do you fence,Space? I can win with honor or i can be defeated and still have honor.
A simple yes or no will do.

Array I know the difference dummy i thought i had you in a (sp)ing........daaaaaaaaaaaa.
yes or no , space. thats it man. -

Array Its unranked dummy! But i guess ill allow you to say "unclassified".
Space, I really dont care what rank YOU are.
What difference does it make. Yes, im ranked
but thats all you need to know.
You can write with the big boys but can you
play with them? Yes, or no, this IS my last post on the matter.
..............The ARCON..............
"are you unclassified or not" do you know what you're asking here? dummy. Sounds like ....are you unclassified or are you not classified......thats the same thing......Mr.Space.
Let me say it for you. Are you classified or not..? Now, thats better.....
[This message has been edited by arcon (edited 06-15-2001).]
I guess you could have meant : if you are "not unclassified then you "are classified........but i doubt it. Still kinda dumb to say it that way.
[This message has been edited by arcon (edited 06-15-2001).]
we call it a rating, Space. we say unrated or rated. It does not really matter what its called. You can be classified an "a" and you can ask someone what are they rated and they will tell you they're an "A". Classification, rank, rating its all the same when your talking about a,b,c,d,e,or (u )unranked or unrated or unclassified.
Compared to you , Space, i guess im a "big boy" because i have one and you dont.
And because ive been in this forum for almost
two years. I appreciate the fact that fencing.net patrons have posted over one hundred post in three of my threads.(Three out of the five that hold the record). This my friend is the clout you say i dont have.
And this i think is what really bothers you.
So go edit something and try to attain your
(classification or your ranking) see ya.
arcon
I didnt think you'd say yes.

Array Bout!
It was a dead heat I can't decide, you're both my heros. -
Arcon:
Without a doubt, I have never seen someone write such stupid things as you on a message board in my entire life. Spelling aside, you may still be the dumbest person I have ever encountered.
I can tell just be reading your comments that you would lose to Space in real fencing. After all, how could someone who posts so much on this net and plays so much D&D have time to be a good fencer. You should have challenged Space to a fantasy role playing game.
Well, just my 2 cents. -

Array now i get to fence space:
Ready ....fence...
mango attacks upper right,
he parries, riposts, misses,
mango steps back and immediately lunges,
the attack lands, point mango,
Ready...fence
Mango balestra's right out arm extended shot lands nicely on his chest,
point mango
Ready...fence
Mango begins another attack,
space coupe's attack does not land,
mango parries, goes under the blade and
lands in sixte,
point mango.
Ready....fence
Mango shoots her arm out flicks to his chest, space not able to stop the shot,
point mango
Ready...fence
Mango does a simple advance lunge attack,
Space misses the parry,
she continues unfazed into the lunge
and hits him squarely in the lower abdomen,
point and Bout MANGO FEVER! -

Array Okay, how about this: We all get together in St. Louis, and have a big free-for-all at Evangelista's classical fencing club. No armor. It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protestor to burn the flag. - Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC -
