No Div I. It's asking a lot of the NYAC I team to expect them to fly all the way to San Jose just for open team. This particular NYAC II team is probably all Juniors.

At least one team is missing from the list ... 15th Touch Fencing from STX coached by P. Pesthy.

Well LAIFC went down to EBFG in the PCC's so look for a good rematch. And NOTE that EBFG has been further strengthened by the return of Bad Boy Rob.

Eh, LAIFC won't have any of the same people on the team from the PCC's, unfortunately. :-/

Assuming it's the same team as last time, and that NYAC 1 isn't going to be there, I predict NWFC taking first.

The NYAC2 team is Brendan Baby, Adam Watson, and Chris Aycock. I was supposed to be the fourth, but for a variety of reasons, including 1) my not training all season and currently sucking; and 2) a business trip, it doesn't look like I am going to make it.

The rest of the NYAC and NYAC2 family is completely burned out and unwilling to fly (and pay to fly) across the country for a second and less difficult team event (no offense).

There are a lot of very strong teams.

It is difficult to know how things will turn out, since a good deal of them may not have all their best fencers out there.

Other than the ones mentioned, Empire United, BFC and Medeo might suprise - and FAW might have a ringer.

I'd say the locals EBFG and GGFC will have an advantage since their best should be there.
